AFL Fantasy has progressively grown over the last few years, with various leagues to compete against others we thought we would help you out with our top selections this year.
Top Picks
#1 Josh Dunkley (FWD/MID) The dual positions with Dunkley makes him our top selection for this season, should progress agian this year with a club move to Brisbane.
#2 Sam Docherty (DEF) Docherty is our top defender choice for this season. With more midfield time expected to be added into his game, this is an easy D1 selection.
#3 Tim Taranto (FWD/MID) Like Dunkley, the dual positions with Taranto makes him an easy selection for this season, should also progress agian this year with a club move to Richmond.
#4 Tim English (RCK) With little to no depth in the Bulldogs rucks, English will have the predominant role the whole season.
#5 Rory Laird (MID) The leading AFL fantasy player from last season and shows no signs of slowing down.
#6 Andrew Brayshaw (MID) This could be time for Brayshaw to go to the next level as one of the best players in the competition. Looks fit and ready to rack them up.
Cash Cows
#1 James Worpel (MID) Increased midfield time is expected for Worpel and priced as low as he is, there is little error you can go wrong.
#2 Charlie Constable (DEF/MID) Gold Coast have been preparing Constable for this role, priced just above a rookie is a bonus.
#3 Finn Callaghan (MID) With the starting fixture, GWS have one of the easiest starts to the season. Has the ability to hold a midfield rotating position all year.
#4 Toby McLean (FWD) With spots in the swuad opening up in the trade period, McLean can be expected to hold a spot for majority of the season given he stays fit, his performance in last years final on top of a price drop makes him a nice stepping stone.
Rookies
#1 Will Ashcroft (MID) Predicted to compete with Nick Daicos’ first year makes him already one of the potential top performance in a very strong side at Brisbane.
#2 Cameron Mackenzie (MID) A top 10 pick from last year’s draft, Cameron Mackenzie has quickly come into Rising Star contention on the back of a superb preseason.
#3 Ruben Ginbey (DEF/MID) Walking into the Eagles side as an exciting 18 year old has shown he can play both back and midfield.
#4 Mattaes Phillipou (FWD/MID) The athletic midfield/forward oozes confidence and natural ability. He’s right in the mix for a Round 1 debut after an impressive showing in the preason.
