Melbourne VS St Kilda (1 Unit Same Game Multi – $4.00)
- Melbourne To Win 1-39 Points Margin (2 Units – $2.10)
- Luke Jackson Anytime Goal Scorer (2 Units – $1.69)
- Jack Sinclair 20+ Disposals (2 Units – $1.22)
Melbourne are the only team undefeated heading into Round 8. The Demons have won six of their seven matches by a margin of 1-39 and I expect more of the same on Sunday. Luke Jackson returns to the team after missing for the first time last weekend. He’s formed a formidable ruck/forward combination with Max Gawn and can certainly hurt teams by hitting the scoreboard. Jack Sinclair is having a superb season to date and has been as consistent as they come in terms of collecting disposals. The lowest he’s accumulated from seven games is 23 and that was last weekend in horribly conditions.
Carlton VS Adelaide Crows (1 Unit Same Game Multi – $4.00)
- Carlton (-21.5 Points) Handicap (2 Units – $1.90)
- Jackson Hately 15+ Disposals (2 Units – $1.36)
- Matthew Kennedy 25+ Disposals (2 Units – $1.87)
Carlton won the corresponding fixture last year by 10 points, and generally have good history against the Crows. The venue for this match will also benefit the Blues, who know the fast track of Marvel well. Hately has not set the world on fire since crossing to Adelaide but he should get more opportunities in the middle this week with Rory Sloane out for the year and Matt Crouch omitted. He had 17 disposals last time out. Kennedy has moved back into the midfield in the absence of Hewett and had 24 disposals last week against North Melbourne. The bull went 30+ in the first three rounds this year, showing his ability to accumulate.
