Western Bulldogs VS Adelaide Crows
- Western Bulldogs To Win (1-39 Points Margin)
Ballarat conditions actually favour the Crows a little more. They are used to playing in the open air and the Western Bulldogs fast paced and high skill game style isn’t super conducive to Ballarat type of conditions. The Bulldogs should be able to get the win here, but it will be a close finish.
- Marcus Bontempelli Anytime Goalscorer
Marcus Bontempelli will spend more time forward again. He booted 1 in each of his first four games before kicking three on the weekend.
- Ben Keys 25+ Disposals
Ben Keays has averaged over 31 disposals through five games so far this season and will now be asked to do even more in the midfield after the injury to Rory Sloane.
Port Adelaide VS West Coast Eagles
- Port Adelaide To Win (-24.5 Points)
If the Power play anything like they did in the 2nd half against Carlton then they should record their first win at home on Saturday afternoon. They looked like a completely different team after the half-time break, outscoring the Blues nine goals to two as they fought for their season.
- Zak Butters 25+ Disposals
Zak Butters, who racked up 32 touches and a goal in the loss will have an increased role in the midfield.
- Robbie Gray 2+ Goals
Robbie Gray returned to the Port Adelaide line-up with a decent outing, kicking three goals on four scoring shots. He is a permanent forward in his later years and when he last faced the Eagles, he kicked 3.0.
Fremantle VS Carlton
- Fremantle To Win (1-39 Margin)
The Dockers continue to fly under the radar despite an immense 4-1 start to the season that sees them sit in third place on the ladder. While the Blues are also 4-1 after five rounds, they’ve had a couple of very close wins that they could’ve easily lost. This will be another close contest but the home team should prevail.
- Michael Frederick 2+ Goals
Michael Frederick has made a bright start to the season as a small dynamic forward for the Dockers and has made some impact on the scoreboard. He’s kicked two goals in three straight games.
- David Mundy 20+ Disposals
David Mundy averages 24.5 disposals per game but has had 28+ in each of his last four games at Optus Stadium.
